Sound of Stereo - TFA (Original Mix)

Our friends over at Secure Recordings never seem to disappoint when it comes to providing only the latest and greatest in Dutch house and bass heavy music. This time around, the Belgium duo Sound of Stereo release their track ‘TFA’, which actually stands for ‘Time For Action’. The simple drums that lead off the song signal the epic Dutch style drop with an electro twist, and some other element that I’m not sure exactly how to describe. It’s just…phenomenal. And as an added bonus, they threw in the Vakkuum remix too. Give it a listen below and head on over to Beatport to pick it up.

As one of the last few artists still putting out quality dance music, it’s always refreshing to see a new Bart B More remix come to the scene. This time around, Bart remixes Peaches’ latest track ‘Burst!’ Complete with an insane guitar riff, haunting vocals and a drop that will knock you on your ass — Bart is back on his A game. Electric Zoo 2012 (Set Times)

22 Aug

Yesterday our friends over at Made Event released the Official Set Times for this year’s Electric Zoo, which is set to blast off next weekend over Labor Day in New York City. The popular festival (now in its fourth year) is shaping up to be more than epic this time around on Randall’s Island with an all-star lineup and curated tents from the likes of Fools Gold & Dim Mak! The level of talent that EZoo is able to bring to New York each year is truly impressive and that certainly makes our jobs harder as there’s always gonna be conflicting sets when you put this many big boys in the same venue. Some of the artists making the trip this year include: 12th Planet, A-Trak, Above & Beyond, Adrian Lux, Adventure Club, Axwell, Bart B More, Benga, Benny Benassi, Bingo Players, 3LAU, Bloody Beetroots, Boys Noize, Brodinski, Dada Life, DallasK, Datsik, David Guetta, Dillon Francis, Diplo, EOTO, Excision, Ferry Corsten, Flux Pavilion & Doctor P, Gesaffelstein, Hardwell, Jack Beats, Kill the Noise, Knife Party, Laidback Luke, Martin Solveig, Mat Zo, Michal Menert, Mord Fustang, Morgan Page, Mt. Eden, Nervo, Nick Catchdubs, Nicky Romero, Paper Diamond, Pierce Fulton, Porter Robinson, Pretty Lights, Rusko, Sander Van Doorn, Skrillex, Steve Aoki, Tiesto, Tommy Trash, Treasure Fingers, Wolfgang Gartner, Zedd, Zeds Dead and more…like come on. Hope to see everyone out there – tickets are still available below but they’re going quick!

Loops of Fury – I Need (Horsepower Remix)

7 Aug

Finally after all the teasing, the supergroup Horsepower, composed of Bart B More, Tommie Sunshine and Rip Tide, have released a preview for their remix of Loops of Fury’s single, ‘I Need’. The pulsating bassline coupled with the most epic Dutch, funky all-round Horsepowere’d inspired drop tells me that this track is destined to tear up the charts. Seems like the union of these three DJ’s is working quite well. While you’re at it, head on over to Beatport and pick up Loops of Fury’s entire new project, the Light Em’ Up EP!

21 Jun

We got a hold of some Live Previews from our man Tommie Sunshine that he played at the Spring Awakening Festival on June 16th at Soldier Field in his native town of Chicago. The first video is a new remix Tommie did with the Disco Fries of ‘Get Stoopid’ by Bombs Away followed by a highly anticipated release from the trio of Tomie Sunshine, Bart B More & RipTide aka Horsepower and their remix of ‘I Need‘ by The Loops of Fury. This Horsepower tune sounds nuts…really starts to bang around the 0:38 mark, stay tuned, we’ll be all over these tracks once they’re finally released.
